What is ISCO?

The Indian Students Cultural Organization (ISCO) is affiliated with The University of Toledo. Our endeavor is to complement student academic program and enhance the overall educational experience of students through their participation in social, cultural, intellectual and recreational activities. Our organization tries to spread the word of “togetherness” by bringing the entire Indian community under one roof.

ISCO Activities

  • Entertainment and recreation of students by organizing activities allied to music, sports and other extra curricular activities.
  • Actively organizing/assisting in putting up numerous Indian festivals like Diwali, Baisakhi, Navaratri, Holi and many more, over the past many years at the university and at the Hindu temple.
  • Support the education of the underprivileged children in India through our combined efforts with ASHA (A charitable non profitable organization).
  • Weekly screening of Indian movies.
  • Promote Indian culture, beliefs and philosophies among domestic and International students on campus and other communities in the University.
  • Provide an opportunity to the local people to participate in student activities.
